About 650 teachers from around the province came to the 2003 B.C. Teachers' Federation Annual General Meeting March 15 -18 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Vancouver. Elected teacher representatives from every local in the province met to discuss policies and programs, elect the Executive Committee, set the fee and the directions for the BCTF in the next year.
