Support was strong for striking B.C. Ambulance Paramedics, members of CUPE 873, at the 2009 Labour Day Picnic at Trout Lake Park in Vancouver, Monday Sept. 7, 2009. The paramedics have been on strike against the B.C. Ambulance Service since April 1, 2009.
