Schools In Action video

A teacher initiative in celebration
of public
education

Schools In Action

VESTA, the Vancouver Elementary School Teachers' Association produced Schools In Action because teachers are very proud of the great things kids are doing in Vancouver schools. This video provides a glimpse of just a few of them.

Schools In Action was completed on the day the Vancouver School Board was forced to cut $11 million from its budget because of provincial government underfunding and downloading. In fact, the Campbell Liberals have now cut $40 million from Vancouver schools in just the last three years, putting much of what you'll see in this video at risk.
